Cyril Currie
A kind and loving heart stopped beating on February 20th, 2012. It is with great sadness that the loving family of Cyril Michael Currie announce his passing. Cyril was a devoted and caring family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Teresa Currie (nee: MacNeil), his cherished children Cyril Jr. (Brenda), Barbara Mitchell (Steven), Mark (Wendy) and Martin (Mimma). Cyril adored his precious grandchildren Christopher, Shawn, Stephanie and Brittany Mitchell, Amanda and Ashleigh Currie and special Papa of Rachel. Cyril is also survived by his sisters in Nova Scotia Jean MacLean, Duddie Bagnell, Pauline Leon, Patricia Leon (Joe) and Shirley Bourgeios (Pierre). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cyril was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Matilda (Hall) Currie, his brothers John, Michael and Pat and his sisters Grace Ferrel of California, Agnes Ramsey and Georgina Whalen (Ron) of Nova Scotia and Susan Dixon (George) of Montreal. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, Ontario on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place privately.
