Passed peacefully away at St. Clares Mercy Hospital on Friday, December 4th, 2009, Arthur Johnston, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Mae Johnston; sisters: Millie, Kitty and Freda and brother Gordon. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 56 years Genevieve (Everard), sons: Ken (Isabelle), Craig (Barb), Wayne (Rose), and Brian (Leslie). Daughters: Cindy (Kent), and Stephanie (Paul), Grandchildren: Julia, Andrea, Tamaran, Mark, Sally, Stephen, Noah and Cameron. Brother Harold (Marg), sister Eva Walsh. Also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday Dec. 8, 2009 at 11 a.m. from Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Ferryland. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ferryland.
