1919-2012. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Theresa Hynes of Terrenceville announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, February 20, 2012, at the age of 92. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons: Pius (Isabel) of Terrenceville, Joseph (Melita) of Medicine Hat, and Stan (Rhona) of Mount Pearl; daughters: Rebecca Hickey (Gus) of Terrenceville, Mary Blum (Peter) of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Theresa Power (Max Rodway) of Creston South, Christina Banfield (Clarence) of Labrador City; daughter-in-law Anne-Marie Hynes (Calgary, Alberta); fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by husband Joseph; sons: George and Norman; parents: Stephen and Elizabeth Cox. Resting and visitation to take place at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Terrenceville on Wednesday, February 22, from 10 a.m. and Thursday, February 23 all day. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, February 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph’s RC Church in Terrenceville. Interment to follow at the RC Cemetery in Terrenceville. In Mary’s memory donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s RC Church or flowers gratefully accepted.
