Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at the Henderson General Hospital with her entire family by her side. Beloved wife of Stephen of 45 years. Loving mother of Jim (Michelle), Rodney (Nancy) and Randy. Proud grandmother of Cameron, Madeleine and Mackenzie. Caring sister of the late Delmar, the late Bobby, the late Kenneth (Sandra), Jack (Helen), Gordon, Colin, Gary (Monica) and Evelyn (Eric). She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and Sammy. Visitation will be held at the L.G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa Street North (905 544-1147) on Thursday, November 26, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 12-1 p.m. at the Laidlaw Memorial United Church, directly beside the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Laidlaw Memorial United Church. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Hamilton and Halton Alzheimer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
