It is with sadness that the family of the late Lenore Fletcher age 72 of Amherst announce her passing on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS.
Born in Glace Bay, NS she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Nicole) Trenchard.
Lenore is survived by five sons Roy (Kathy) of Dundas, ON, Danny of Oakville, Scott (Sue) of London, ON, Perry (Sue) of Selkirk, ON and Randy (Diane) of Perry Sound, ON, one daughter Darlene (Charlie) Turnbull of Red Deer, AB; six grandchildren Kyle, Carly, Rachel, Rebecca, Jamie and Heather.
She is also survived by four brothers Bob of Chapman Settlement, John (Sharon) of Amherst, Lloyd (Ann) of Burlington, USA and Donnie of Brantford, ON; two sisters Myrna Rushton of Springhill and Yvonne (Ernie)Cavanaugh of London, ON and many nieces and nephews.
Lenore was predeceased by her husband Roland, brothers Ralph, Jimmy, Bud and Graham and sisters Shirley Cann, Mary Hall and Lois Taylor
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906).
Rev. Susan Estabrooks will officiate.
Interment will take place at a later date in Glace Bay, NS.
Memorial donations in Lenore's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
