Connie Ingham, 54, of Peterborough, Ont., passed away suddenly at home on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, shortly after being diagnosed with lymphoma. Born in Herringen, West German on Nov. 17, 1957, she was the daughter of Josef and Johanna (Berenfanger) Schombara.
Connie had worked as a machinist for Dynacast in Peterborough, a job that she loved.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend, John. She was a devoted mother to daughters, Keri-Ann Van Allen (David) and Krista Gould (David Clarke) and stepmother to Kris Ingham. She loved spending time with her only grandson, Zachery Van Allen “my boy”. She is also survived by her sister, Eveline (Richard) Walsh; niece, Cristina Walsh and nephews, Adam and Jarrett Walsh.
She was predeceased by her brother, Martin and uncle, Gunther.
At her request, no service was held in Peterborough. Fr. Michael Rankin remembered her in his prayers during a service held on Feb. 20, 2012, at the MacGillivray Guest Home. Cremation has taken place at Highland Park Funeral Home.
A very special thank you to her husband and daughters for loving her and taking care of her when she needed it the most.
