Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008, of Arthur R. Lambe of Charlottetown and formerly of Emerald, aged 93 years. Born in Springfield Dec. 28, 1914, he was the son of the late Michael T. and Anna (Deegan) Lambe. Beloved husband of Rita (Mallett) Lambe. Loving father of Nyall (Ruth) Lambe; Sheila Mulligan (James Chaser); Anna Gayle Strumberger; Sharleen (Barry) Martin; Keith (Noreen) Lambe; Mike Lambe (Paula Brown) and Cathy (David) Livingstone. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Pat Mulligan, Colleen Deselmes, Mike Mulligan, Michelle Volke, Chris MacDonald, Lynda McKenna, Aaron Strumberger, Jacob Strumberger, Billy Martin, Mary Beth Martin, Brody Lambe, Leanne Lambe, Tasia Lambe, Adam Lambe, Colin Livingstone, Steve Livingstone and Matt Livingstone as well as seven great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Ruth (late Ivan) Lambe. Predeceased by his great-grandson Edward Deselmes; daughter–in-law Adelaide (Mulligan) Lambe and the following brothers and sisters: Eileen, Ruth, Margaret, Ivan, Carroll, Elmer, Annie and Hilda. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday at St. James Church Summerfield at 10 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
