HARPER Helen Valerie Harper passed away on February 14, 2007. Born on March 31, 1933 at Cook's Creek, Manitoba. Our loving mother, wife, nana, sister, auntie and friend has gone to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is reunited with her loving husband, John, dancing once again together in heaven. Helen was predeceased by her husband, John (1998); Parents, Joe and Pauline Laschuk; brother, Peter Laschuk. Brothers in-law, Glen Grapentine and Walter Halipchuk. Left with wonderful memories of Helen are son, Robert Harper of Kamloops; daughter, Kim (Murray) Harper-Rusk of Mirror, Alberta; grandchildren Brittany and Nick Timm. Also remembering Helen are her sisters, Stella Halipchuk of Oak Bank, Manitoba; Florence Grapentine of Winnipeg; Brother in-law Dave (Shirley) Harper of Kenora, Ontario; and many special nieces and nephews and their families, Merlin and Brenda Halipchuk, Barry Halipchuk, Rick and Cathy Halipchuk, Walt and Kristine Halipchuk, Glenda Sobie, Kathy and Jeff Jones, Susan and Norm Mohr, Sharon and John Olbert, Blaine and Cindy Laschuk, David, Barry, Chris Harper. Helen was a beautiful, giving, helping friend to everyone. She especially loved sitting on her little porch, admiring her beautiful flowers and garden. Mom was a gentle lamb who has been called to be with her Great Shepherd. We love you mom. Rest in peace. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summit Drive Baptist Church, 1975 Summit Drive, Kamloops. Pastor Harry Bicknell presiding.
