CAISSIE, IRÈNE - 1924 - 2012 - Irène Caissie, 88 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Bouctouche passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Manoir on Saturday February 25th, 2012. She was married to the late Harry Caissie (1986). Born in Bouctouche on February 4th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Célestin and the late Emma (Hébert) Collette. She will be sadly missed by her four children; Marie-Rose Collette (Mélas) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Emma Caissie Melanson (Ronald), Alvin (Bernadette) and Roger (Thérèse) of Bouctouche, her four grandchildren; Rose-Marie Cormier, Rose-Marie Caissie, Louis-Marie and Jackie, and four great grandchildren; Roger Jr, Annie, Shantai and Shane. She also leaves to mourn one sister Marguerite Watson of Vancouver, and one brother Irènée of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters; Rose and Marie and four brothers; Alfred, Oscar, Léo, and Calixte.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday February 28th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 3:45 pm . Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church Bouctouche on Wednesday February 29th, 2012 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
