It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret (Molly) Sarah Ryan announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on February 25, 2012 at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her seven children, Barbara (Wally) Spontaneo, Dave (Judy), Karen Vey, Anthony, Robert, William and Brian, as well as sister Marie, sister-in-law (friend) Bridget Walsh, Aunt Ruby McCarthy and brother-in-law Jim Hearn. She also leaves to mourn six grandchildren, Shelley (Wayne), Karen (Corey), Billy (Madonna), Robi, Cerea, and Alayiah and five great grandchildren, Ryan, Victoria, Rachael, Brandon and Allie, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Mildred Messervey, her husband William, and sisters Saundra, Edna, and Myrtle. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Ruth Gingrich and Janice Whiffin for all of their kindness and support, also, a very special acknowledgment to daughter Karen Vey who, lovingly and devotedly, cared for our mother. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Monday February 27, 2012 from the hours of 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday February 28, 2012 from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church at 10.30 am with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
