Passed away on February 23, 2012, at the age of 82. Predeceased by his daughter, Cathy (Hardy). Leaving to mourn his wife of 56 years Jean; son Philip; sister Margaret (Pike); sister-in-law Ruby (Borland); son-in-law Ted Hardy; and two wonderful granddaughters: Beth Hardy and Brooke Riggs. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation on Monday, February 27, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place from Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue on Tuesday, February 28 at 2 pm. Donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
