Ira J. Williams
Loving thanks to all the neighbors, friends and family of the late Ira J. Williams
We, the family of Ira Joseph Williams wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, friends and neighbors who helped us through this difficult time. The outpouring of love and support extended to our family after the loss of a husband, father and Grampy has been tremendous. Many sincere thanks to those who attended the viewing and funeral, brought food to our home, flowers, phone calls, e-mails, monetary donations, mass and sympathy cards. Many donations to the Cancer Treatment Unit and the Palliative Care Unit have also been graciously offered. To Ira’s closest friends and family members who supported him during the many months of his illness, words cannot express our gratitude. To the staff at the An Cala Palliative Care Unit, 4D Unit, and his doctors at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, the VON, New Dawn Home Care Services, Cape Breton Homemakers, as well as the staff at the Health Park Pharmasave, a huge thank you. Heartfelt thanks to Bill Laurie and staff at the Pier Community Funeral Home as well as to Father Dan MacInnis and Father Sandy MacNeil of Holy Rosary Parish for officiating during the funeral mass. To the choir, Marilyn MacKinnon and Howie MacDonald, a special thank you. The CWL and Legion ladies, many thanks to you as well. We extend blessings of gratitude to each and every one of you.
Love Bridget, Todd, Peggy Lee, Ann Cherie and Jody and their families.
