1922-2012
Peacefully at the Garden Home on Saturday, February 25, 2012, of Mrs. Jennie M. Ling (nee MacCallum), formerly of Brackley Beach and New Haven, in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Ling and dear mother of David (Edith) Ling, Linda Ling, Blaine (Susan) Ling, Hubert (Theresa Livingstone) Ling, Brenda (Peter) Howatt, and Cynthia (Steven) Judson. She is also lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susie MacCallum of Charlottetown, Betty (the late Stan) Cruwys of Ontario; son-in-law, Hartley Corney; brother-in-law, Leon Murphy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her parents Hubert and Katie (Youland) MacCallum; son, Horace Ling; daughter, Nancy Corney; brothers Ernest, Hammond, Eric (Dorothy) and Neil (Helen) MacCallum and sisters Clara (Ron) MacLean, Anne (Reg) Ross and Lois Murphy.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday morning in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Portage Cemetery, Brackley Beach. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jennie’s memory may be made to the Portage Cemetery Fund or the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I.
