The death occurred at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Sunday morning, February 26, 2012, of Vivian Mae Gamble MacNevin Hyde in her 99th year.
Vivian, the daughter of the late John Lee and Gladys Gamble, was predeceased by her husbands Stewart MacNevin and Norman Hyde; her siblings, her eldest granddaughter Lorraine Lee Cousins, and son-in-law Lyman Wood.
She is survived by her three children Wanda MacNevin Wood, Sheldon (Ruth) MacNevin, and Lynn MacNevin Jay; six grandchildren, Grant (Kim) MacNevin, Tracey Callbeck (John - deceased), Donald (Jude) Wood, Kerri-Lynn Jay Ryan (Chad), Nevin Jay, Khista Jay (Nick), and Kelly Jay Marlin. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Jonna Callbeck, Liam and Ian MacNevin, Lexi, Leah, Cain, and Lola Wood, a number of nieces and nephews and brother-in-law Frederick Blanchard of Florida.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, where a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 3, at 3 p.m. Visitation from 2 p.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Argyle Shore Cemetery Fund would be gratefully accepted.
