LEOLA MARGARET ARMANINI (BRAYDEN) Peggy passed away peacefully, in the presence of her family, Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Peggy was born November 5, 1920 in Youngstown, Alberta. She spent her early years in Tappen Valley and Salmon Arm. She spoke fondly of her first job at Echo Lodge on Paul Lake that brought her to Kamloops where she met her husband Jules Armanini. Peggy is survived by her daughter Lee Hardaker, son-in-law Ted and grandsons Trent and Graeme. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Jules and her sons Bobby and Larry. She was also predeceased by her brothers Albert, Alex and Thomas and her sisters Eleanor and Dela. Peggy cherished the days she spent camping and fishing with her husband and young family. Her garden and the family home were sources of pride for her. She also discovered a wonderful artistic talent and she derived much pleasure from her painting. She volunteered for many years at the Kamloops Art Gallery and the Mary Martha Unit of Kamloops United Church. There will be a Celebration of Life for Peggy, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Kamloops United Church, 421 St. Paul Street, Kamloops. In lieu of flowers, donations to Muscular Dystrophy Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association in Peggy's name would be appreciated.
