May Morrison, Mary Brown Morrison passed away peacefully in her home in Murphy's California on March 3, 2007 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her husband Norris in 1979, her sisters Jenny and Margaret and her brother Alex. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter May and Jim Strasman of Toronto, Ontario and two sons LeRoy and Helen of Kamloops, B.C. and Don and Jane of Arnold, California, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mary was born in Glasgow, Scotland to Neal and Jessie McLean. With her mother, brother and sisters she moved to Canada at the age of nine. She married Norris in 1931 and lived in many parts of B.C. including Vancouver Island, Langley and Westwold. She moved to California in 1960 with Norris and their young son Don where she resided until her passing. A memorial service will be held in her honour at a later date in Murphy's California.
