Born in Fraserville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Groves) Crossman, She is survived by daughters, Frances Taylor (Reid Fraser), Parrsboro; Mary Janke (Ronald), Salmon Arm, BC; sons, Rodney (Marilyn), Parrsboro; Gary (Kathy Barclay), Debert; a brother, Alvin Crossman, Parrsboro; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Darrell; a sister, Ethel; brothers, Aubrey, Ronald, Melvin. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday [March 1, 2012] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday [March 2, 2012], Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
