LAROCQUE, CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL - It is with great sadness the family announces the unexpected death of Christopher LaRocque of Quispamsis who passed away at home on March 2, 2012. Born September of 1950, to the late Leonard and Theresa (Higgins) LaRocque. Devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grampie and friend. He was a Truck Driver for many years and a Heavy Equipment Operator. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Katherine (Bonnar) LaRocque; one son Joseph "Joey" and fiancé Carla Voutour of Saint John; grandchildren Kaytlin, Kaylie, Cody and Karrin; one brother Brian (Barbara) of Saint John; sister Theresa Billingsley (Mac) of Miramichi; nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents Chris was predeceased by his brothers Leonard, Danny and Ronnie; one sister Ann; niece Debbie and great niece Catherine.
Visitation will be held from Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Sunday, March 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 5th at 2:00 p.m. Private interment at a later date.
