Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, George Lambert of Grates Cove, aged 94 years. Predeceased by wives: Mabel and Sarah. Leaving to mourn four sons: Tom (Elizabeth), Bob (Mildred), Don (Beckie), Bram (Marilyn); two daughters: Elsie Green (Vernon) and Eleanor (Bill) Butt; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.; then resting at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Grates Cove on Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. from St. Luke's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Grates Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Grates Cove.
