Robert Phillip Fogarty, 80, formerly of Donovan Crescent, Dominion, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at the Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility.
Born at Hazel Hill, Canso, he was a son of the late Michael Vincent and Lucy Margaret (Feltmate) Fogarty.
Phillip is survived by brothers, Michael, Ronald (Peggy), Ralph, Howard and Gary; sister, Kathleen (Frank) Dunn; nephew, Jim (Shirley) Fogarty, Dominion; niece, Agnes Pearce, Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Pat, James, Donald and Tom, sisters, Mary and Betty.
Visitation will be held tomorrow (Thursday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. Funeral Mass of Resurrection Friday, 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Rev. Dan Boudreau officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Donations in Phillip’s memory are suggested to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or charity of choice.
