The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, July 7, 2008, of Blanche Howatt, formerly of Brophy Avenue, Summerside, aged 76 years. Born in Wellington, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Eva (MacAusland) Day. Survived by her children Victor (Sharon) Howatt, Summerside; Shelley (Benjamin) Turcott, British Columbia; grandchildren Ian and Adam Howatt; sisters Marjorie Conrad, Wellington; Neta MacCaull, Summerside; brother Gordon (Pat) Day, Summerside; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Howatt; sister Linda MacIntosh; and by brothers-in-law Bruce Conrad and Sherman MacCaull. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Wellington.
