(1924-2012) Passed peacefully away at her home in Chancellor Park on Sunday March 4th, 2012 surrounded by her loving family Alma Neary. Predeceased by her husband Paul (2010), her sister Mary Picco, brothers Reg and Henry Thorne. Left with wonderful memories of a loving, caring mother and nanny are her children, Ron (Sandra), Brenda Bowen (Don), Chris (Grace), Anastasia Day (Derrick), Paul (Linda Chafe), and Edward, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Alma also leaves to mourn her brother John as well as a number of other relatives and friends. The family wish to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff and physicians of Chancellor Park who were like family to mom and whose exemplary care and compassion in the last week of her life were of great comfort. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Monday and Tuesday March 5th, and 6th, 2012 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 7:00 pm-9:00 pm.Funeral Mass to take place from Mary Queen Of Peace, Torbay Road on Wednesday March 7th, 2012 at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
