Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Saturday, March 3rd, Anne Teresa Smith, in her 97th year. Predeceased by husband Aloysius in 1986. Giving with thanks for her long and active life are her son Adrian (Judi ), beloved grandsons Reagan (Aliya), Ian (Lisa) and Aaron, and precious great-grandchildren Leo and Lily in Newmarket, Ontario, and Ethan and Shyanne, Outer Cove, NL. Anne also leaves a number of family members in Conception Harbour , Colliers, and St. John’s, and her canine friend Charlie. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Tuesday, March 6th 2:00 – 4:00 P.M., and 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Funeral service to take place at Caul’s on Wednesday, March 7th at 11:00 A.M. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in Anne’s memory can be made to the Newfoundland SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
