Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 2nd, 2012 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Lloyd Smith age 82 years. Predeceased by his parents Osbourne and Daphne; son Paul; brother Gerald and sister Eileen. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife Kathleen (Hearn); two daughters Daphne (Chris) Manning and Patricia (Chris) Beason; one son David and their mother Angela; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sister Frances, N.S. and brother Walter, N.S.; sister – in – law Marie O’Reilly (Charles) and brother – in – law Loyola Hearn (Maureen). As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 from Mary Queen of the World Parish at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
