Long time employee of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a short illness on Sunday, March 4th, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wife of 65 years Ann (Corcoran), (2009); sons Eugene (1954), Jimmy (1989), Bob (2008) and Brian (2009) and other members of the Stamp and Corcoran families. Leaving to mourn his children: Gary, Goose Bay, NL, Wynann (Bill Smith), Paul (Darlene Grouchy), Joey (Karen Power); daughters-in-law Gloria and Suzanne , 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; special friends Harry Lacey and Shirley Breen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 from The Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
