IAN MALCOLM ARMSTRONG March 2, 1955 - April 7, 2007 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend, Ian Malcolm Armstrong on April 7, 2007 at the age of 52 years. Ian will be forever missed by his devoted wife of 23 years Terry Lee (nee Kobe); his son Christopher Shane (Tracy); daughter Hilary Joy Armstrong (Jason Girodat) of Stratford, Ontario; mother Marguerite (nee DeMurrell) of Kamloops, grandsons; Quinton Christopher and Tyler Dean Armstrong both of Kamloops, granddaughter Katelyn Patricia May Girodat (Armstrong) of Stratford, Ontario; his siblings, Robin (Jim) Lewis, Susan (Gerry) Downie, Jean Armstrong, Judy Armstrong, John Armstrong, Robert (Judy) Armstrong. Ian was predeceased by his father Homer Scott Armstrong January 22, 1981. He was blessed with a great number of nieces, nephews, who were very dear to him. Ian was born in Gimli, Manitoba and then moved to southern Ontario to Shakespeare where he went to school. In 1981, he spent a couple of years in Calgary where he met his true love Terry. They returned together to Ontario where they married in 1984. In 1989 they relocated to Kamloops where a few family followed and still reside here today. Ian had a passion for the Martial Arts and its teachings. Although his proudest moments were with his children and grandchildren, he lived life through them and they are and will forever be his greatest joy. "I cannot find words powerful enough to express how much I miss you already Ian" I love you with all my heart and soul. "Wifey" Now and forever. A Celebration of life for Ian will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 13, 2007 at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral, 360 Nicola St., Kamloops, B.C.
