The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday July 11, 2008, of Jerry Arsenault of Tignish, aged 86 years. Husband of the late Florence Arsenault. He was born in Skinners Pond on Oct. 26, 1921, the son of the late Josie and Beatrice (Gallant) Arsenault. Dear father to Eileen (Mervyn) Ellis, Charlottetown; Reynolds (Connie), Charlottetown; Jean (Carl) Doyle, Christophers Cross; Audrey (Stewart) Kelly, Tignish; Cheryl (Lenwood) Roach, Tantallon, N.S. Justin (Karen), Charlottetown and Christine (Stephen) Wiswell, Enfield, N.S. Loving grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Brother to Irene Arsenault, Tignish; Melvina (Edgar) Peters, Tignish; Sylvia (Joe) Arsenault, Rumford, Maine; Ernest (Clair) Arsenault, Halifax; Howard (Bertha) Arsenault, Dartmouth, N.S.; Leroy (Evelyn) Arsenault, Skinners Pond. He was predeceased by his parents Josie and Beatrice, wife Florence, son Henry and a sister Emily. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
