BOWERS On Tuesday, April 17, 2007 Mr. Eric Arthur Bowers a long time resident of Kamloops passed away. He was born February 21, 1912 in Broadstairs, Kent, England. Eric is lovingly remembered by his wife Florence and his three children Nancy (Al) Baker. Alan (Robbie) and Brent (Janet); his grandchildren Melissa and Cody Baker, Keith and Gary Bowers, Pamela, Sarah, Trevor and Colleen Bowers. Eric worked for the B.C. Forest Service for most of his career. He collected his pension longer than he worked - dad thought that was great! He enjoyed all the changes over his time in Kamloops and he also kept up with the changes of technology. Eric was very proud of his 71 year membership in the A.F. & A.M. OF B.C. & Yukon. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Anglican Cathedral, 360 Nicola Street with Canon Jack Phelps officiating.
