Mary Calderbank 1922 - 2007 "Mary" Ethel Calderbank (nee Matusky) passed peacefully March 9, 2007 at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home. She was predeceased by her husbands Ray Calderbank (2001) and Ray Rutley (1982), her brother Steve and her parents, Andrew and Ethel Matusky. Mary is survived by her bother Frank (Louise) sons Ron (Pat) Rutley and Richard (Abigail) Rutley, her seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her many loving friends, her adopted "girls", the merry widows and her special friend Marv. Mary was born near Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, served in the Royal Canadian Navy and moved to BC after the war. She was educated as a registered nurse and lived near Abbotsford, then farmed in Clearwater for many years before moving to Kamloops. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2007 in the chapel of Personal Alternative Funeral Services 177 Tranquille Rd. A special "Thank You" to the staff at the Hospice Home.
