It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margie Hancock of Forteau, NL, announce her passing on March 3, 2012 at Labrador South Health Centre at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories niece Mary (Edward); nephew Norman (Mabel); great-nieces and nephews Faye (Keith), Cecil, Peggy (Dwight), Adele, Rakila (Kirby), and Lorelie (Hughey); great-great nieces and nephews Amy, Meghan, Kylee, Dustin, Bianca, Rebecca, April, and Ethan, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Visitation took place at the United Church in Forteau on Saturday and Sunday from where the funeral service took place on Monday, March 5 at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Loretta Hancock and Mrs. Alice Moores officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in Forteau. As expressions of sympathy flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home in L’Anse au Loup.
