Peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday July 15, 2008, of Wendy Hazel Hughes (nee MacEwen) of Charlottetown. Dear daughter of Marguerite MacEwen (Tom Wells). Much loved wife of Kevin, and mother of Colin, Andrew, Curtis and Patrick. Sister to Shelley (Brian) McAloney, Saint John N.B., Gloria (Brendan) McShane, Cole Harbour N.S., Beth MacEwen (Michael) Gallant) Summerside, and Carol (Kent) MacFarlane, North Carleton. Daughter-in-law of Evelyn Hughes. Caring aunt to 21 nieces and nephews. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by her Dad, Albert MacEwen, father-in-law Edwin Hughes, and brother-in-law Walter Hughes. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Sunday from Spring Park United Church 1:30 p.m. Interment in Lower Bedeque Cemetery.
