We, the family of the late Edward Callahan, who passed away peacefully on February 18, 2012, at Western Memorial Hospital, would like to give sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who helped during Dad’s illness and recent passing. We gratefully acknowledge your support of sympathy, the many cards, flowers, memorial gifts, email condolences, phone calls, gifts of food, visits to the hospital, funeral home and attendance to Dad’s service.

Special thanks to Dr. Peter Callahan, the Palliative Care staff of dedicated nurses, for their gentle and loving care of our father. Eileen Coombs, Dr. Dunn and Dr. Rashleigh, who treated Dad with the utmost respect, dignity and kindness during his illness.

Thanks to Dwayne Parsons and his staff at Country Haven for their kindness and professionalism. Also, the pallbearers and Henry Pinhorn for his beautiful hymn.

We would especially like to thank Monsignor Edwin Gale, for his many visits to our father, giving him great spiritual comfort, during his illness and the beautiful service at the funeral mass. His kind words were a great comfort to the family and particularly to our Mom.

We would also like to thank the Senior’s Echo Club for the lovely lunch and fellowship provided following the church service.
