MURDIE, AGNES LOTTIE - Agnes Lottie Murdie formerly of Westfield, NB passed away at Bobby’s Hospice on Friday March 9, 2012. Born 1930 at 161 Prince St. West in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Verna (Babington) Nice. Agnes loved to read and enjoyed doing puzzles. She adored her two adopted greyhounds Deacon and Jed and enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She is survived by her sons Ralph of Westfield NB, Robert of Saint John and Mark of Saint John; Daughters Margaret Lockerbie of Saint John and Linda Moore (Gordon) of Norton, NB; brother Hiram Nice of Kingston NB and sister Verna Lee of Grandbay, Westfield; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Agnes was predeceased by her husband James and brothers Fred, Ralph, Lincoln and Arthur.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). By the family’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
