(1949-2009)
Wilfred Gerard passed away December 3, 2009, in Vancouver, B.C., at the age of 60.
Born in Charlottetown July 26, 1949, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Stella MacDonald of Beasley Avenue in Parkdale.
Wilfred is survived by brothers, Cecil (Elaine), Mike (Judy), John; sisters, Regina (Leigh Smith), Maureen (Mike Thompson), Claudia (Ron Macfarlane); and sisters-in-law, Jeannie Pitts and Cheryl Poulton; along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Wilfred was predeceased by his brother Paul (December 6, 2008).
Wilfred loved to come home to P.E.I. especially \"Old Home Week\".
At Wilfred\'s request cremation will take place in Vancouver. Respecting Wilfred\'s wishes there will be no visitation.
A celebration of life service for Wilfred will be held Wednesday, December 16, 10 a.m., at St. Pius Church, Parkdale. The family will receive friends in the church hall following the service. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
