KELLOWAY, Stirling W.R. – passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, March 9th, 2012 after a short illness, Stirling W.R. Kelloway of Salmonier Line age 80. Predeceased by his first wife Joyce, mother and father John and Gladys Kelloway and his five brothers: Ray, Max, Bob, Randy and Dick. Left with broken hearts to celebrate his life his loving and devoted wife Shirley, and his canine buddy Jake, children; Pamela Eavis (Gary) of CBS, Richard (Annette) of Three Island Pond, Wanda Shave (Randy) of Fort McMurray, Keith (Kathee Reardigan) of Salmonier Line, Lisa Sharpe (Dean) of St. Philips, grandchildren: Grant and Keira Eavis, Adam and Leigh Kelloway, Paul Shave (Amy), Lori Mercer (Chad), Christopher Shave, Robyn & Rachel Sharpe; great-granddaughters, Ella Mercer and Sophia Petite, step-children; Glenda Chaffey (Wade) of Stephenville Crossing, Geoff Bishop (Kim Normore) of Corner Brook, David Bishop (Mandy) of Halifax, Paul Bishop of Halifax, Robert Bishop (Kerri) of Edmonton, step-grandchildren: Kim Goulden, Kelley Tolentino, Arron Chaffey, Sara and Dillon Bishop, Nicholas and Taylor Bishop and four step-great grandchildren; Paige and Caden Tolentino, Jack and Abbie Goulden. Sisters; Joan Watson of Hamilton, Shirley Tucker of Portugal Cove, Rosalyn Best, of Bay Roberts, Linda Hussey of Hamilton, Rochelle Kelloway of Hamilton, Sisters-in-law, Una Roberts (Ed) Brigus and Shirley Bishop, Clarkes Beach. Visitation to take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, March 10th, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 11th 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., cremation to follow. Funeral services will be held from St. James United Church on Monday, March 12th at 2 p.m. Stirling lived his life as a true philanthropist. He was a member of the Mazol Shriners and the Masonic Whiteway Lodge. In lieu of flowers we would like to honor his wishes with donations to the charity that was closest to his heart for the majority of his life, the Shriners Children’s Travel Fund.
