Lorne "Red" Shaw

SHAW, LORNE "RED" - Lorne “Red” Alfred Shaw, loving husband of Virginia (Wallace) Shaw, of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB occurred peacefully on March 9, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1930 in Summerville, NB he was the son of the late Percy and Annie (Bradley) Shaw. Red worked as a Crane Operator for CPR and the Saint John Dry Dock. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Besides his loving wife Virginia of 55 years, he is survived by his son Kevin Shaw (Cari) of Fredericton and daughter Cyndi Wallace (Michael) of Nerepis; cherished grandchildren Katelyn Shaw of Saint John, Jennifer Goldsworthy (Kevin) of Edmonton, AB, Cole and Sierra Dugas of Fredericton and Marissa Wallace of Saint John; great grandchildren Kaley, Emma and Lyliana; brothers Edmond Shaw of Saint John and and Maynard Seeley (Letah) of Montana; sister Sharon Galbraith of Saint John; several nieces and nephews.
By Lorne’s request there will be no visitations. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lorne made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
