LeBLANC, REGINALD - 1929 - 2012 - Reginald LeBlanc passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital "Oncology Department" on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Born in Lakeburn, NB, a son of the late Allain and Julliette LeBlanc. Reginald will be sadly missed by his wife Bernadette (d' Entremont) of 59 years, two sons Terrance (Beverley) of Lower Coverdale, Robert (Sandi) of Paris, France, one daughter Charline (Daniel) Gallant, five grandchildren; Joel Gallant, Nicole Gallant, Gillian Wilson, Daniel McFee, Marc LeBlanc as well as five great grandchildren; Kendall Beach, Jackson Wilson, Olivia Gallant, Katrina and Colton McFee. He is also survived by two sisters Geraldine Boudreau and Eva Mai (Mike) Gayton, two brothers Leonard (Corinne) and Ulysse (Corinne) LeBlanc, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Reginald was predeceased by an infant son, Robert Joseph. Reginald was retired from the Federal Department of Transport as a Firefighter at the Moncton Airport after 34 years of service. During his service Reg received recognition for his quick action and bravery. Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council1310, the Golden Age Club of Dieppe, Past President of the church Council in Lakeburn, served on Dieppe town Council. He enjoyed camping, cross country skiing and after retirement he enjoyed curling, golfing as well as volunteering his services at the church.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Anselme RC Church on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the Golden Age Club, Dieppe, Acadie Avenue. Remembrances in Reginald's memory may be made to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital foundation "Children's Oncology Department" or the charity of the donor’s choice.
