ROBICHAUD, JOHN JOSEPH - (1931 - 2012) - ST. CHARLES, NB - John Robichaud, 80, of St. Charles passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Saturday, March 10th, 2012. Born in St. Charles he was the son of the late Dan and late Alma (Malley) Robichaud. Before retiring, John was employed with the National Defence and was also a licensed carpenter for over 20 years. He attended St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church and he was a member of the St. Charles Golden Age Club. John will be sadly missed by his daughter; Ruth Pearce of Collingwood, ON, two sons; Gary Robichaud of Gagetown, Beverly Savoy (Maria) of St. Charles, four grandchildren; Michael, Jason, Randy, Andrea, one great grandchild, six sisters; Florence Savoie (Alfred) of Saint John, Léona Wilcox (Vinton) of St. George, Thérèse Vautour (Isidore) of St. Charles, Irene Ouellette (Bernard) of St. Charles, Maria Verreault (Laurent) of Florida, Elsie Ouellette (François) of Moncton, one sister-in-law; Carol and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his wife; Jessie (Dickson) Robichaud, three brothers; Alvin Roichaud, Augustine Robichaud (late Sylvia), Aurèle Robichaud and two infant sisters; Simida and Irene.
John will be resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 at 4:30 pm, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be held at a later date.
