Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Center on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, William Pardy, aged 84 years. Predeceased by parents Phillip and Elsie; brothers Jim and Phillip. Leaving to mourn is his loving and devoted wife of 55 years Violet; sons John (Catherine), Robert (Sherry), his girls - granddaughters Karen (Dave), Jennifer (Jason), Lesley and Allison (Jeff); great-grandsons Braylon and Alex; brother Ben; sisters Betty and Edith; brothers-in-law Wallace, Gilbert (Lily), Melvin (Sila); sisters-in-law Mena (Ed), Grace (Herb), Aggie and a large circle of family and friends. Also a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the cancer clinic and palliative care unit at the Miller Center, as well as the hospital chaplains. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 and Thursday, December 10, 2009. Funeral service to be held from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
