It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael “Lloyd” Eddy announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Sunday, Mach 11, 2012 at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed by his friend, Lillian Benoit, three daughters: Sandra McCarthy (Paul) of Ontario, Beverley Eddy of Corner Brook, Karen (Howie) Howard of Ontario; two brothers: Abbie (Phyllis) Eddy of Alberta, Earl (Barb) Eddy of Alberta, step-children: Ivy (Mike) Verrigan of Alberta, Ken (June) Hoskins of Alberta, Eric (Judy) Hoskins of Ontario, Jerome (Katherine) Hoskins of Boswarlos, Laura (Bill) Keough of Port au Port, Patricia (Raymond) Abbott of Felix Cove, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Nathaniel and Kathleen, son, Phil Morris, daughter, Carol Benoit, his wife, Phoebe, his step-daughter, Marie Harvey. Cremation has taken place and Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church in Port au Port East with Interment in the Anglican Cemetery in Port au Port East. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville.
