May 29, 1939 – March 12, 2012 - Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Monday, March 12th, 2012 surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother Alice (Coombs) Stamp; father David Sr. and brother David. She leaves to mourn her husband of forty-six years Wilfred; brother John (Brenda); son Sean (Deanne Newton); daughter Tina (Alexander Dalziel) and granddaughter Emery. Having fought cancer with determination for four years, she leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family, including the Breen, Coombs, Casey, Shannahan and Walsh families. To the staff of the Health Sciences Centre and the L. A. Miller Centre, and most especially Drs. Siddiqui, Norman and Laing, we thank you for your professional kindness and care. To all of our families, neighbors, friends and co-workers for your gifts of food and support, we thank you. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Thursday, March 15th, 2012 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 16th, 2012 from St. Pius X Church at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
