BENNETT We deeply regret to announce the passing of our father, Charles Victor Bennett, aged 81 of Cartago, Costa Rica. Dad passed away April 22, 2007 in Cartago. Predeceased by his first wife, Pauline (Apolonia) Bennett. He is survived by his wife Vivian of Cartago and his children Joan (Grant) Robertson, Michael (Colleen) Bennett, Carol (Delbert) Frederick of Kamloops and Diane Harcott of Abbotsford and Jonathan (Miribel) Bennett of Cartago and Raymond Bennett of Kamloops. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Helen Weaver of Ladner and his brother Gordon Bennett of Mable Lake. Dad was known in Kamloops for his business involvements in the lumber industry, land-development, and later in Vancouver in the hotel business. His golden years were spent farming in Costa Rica. Dad will be remembered by many for his adventurous and free spirit, his generous ways and his sense of humor. Love you Dad, Fly free and rest in peace.
