The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, March 15, 2012, of Milton Willard MacAusland of Abram-Village, son of the late Willard and Mae (Ford) MacAusland and common-law spouse of Louise Gallant. Survived by children Cathy MacAusland of Crapaud, Chris (Jennifer) MacAusland of Waverley, N.S., Alison (Wayne) MacAusland-Dingee of Moncton, N.B., and Jaime (Bruce) Gallant of O’Leary, and stepchildren, Giselle (Randy) Corkum of Wellington and Shawn (Tanya) Gallant of Summerside. Survived by sisters, Eloise (Alton) Silliker of O’Leary, June Wallace of Fortune Cove, Joan Mudgrige of Alberton and brother Gerald (Julia) MacAusland of Memramcook, N.B. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Margaret and Joyce and brother Allison. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at Bideford-Conway United Church, Tyne Valley, on Saturday, March 17, at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
