On December 9, 2009 Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth (Betty) Cook passed away peacefully in Kamloops at the age of 79 years.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter Vicki Cook of Clearwater, her son Peter Cook of Vancouver and two grandchildren; her brother Melville Arniel and her sister Barbara Ortiz.

Predeceased by her husband Peter Charles Stanley Cook.

Betty retired from Bookkeeping. She was a long time resident of Kamloops, living with her daughter the last five years in Clearwater, BC. She enjoyed doing volunteer work.
