POIRIER-CORNEAU, DIANE - It is with great sadness that the Corneau family announces the death of Diane Poirier-Corneau, on Monday March 19, 2012 following a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 3, 1951 in Iles-de-la-Madeleine, QC, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Elizabeth (Doyle) Poirier. Retired just over a month ago from the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, she brings with her all the wonderful projects developed during her 38 ½ years career as a nurse. Her husband, Henry, her children: Nathalie and Jonathan, her grandchildren: Nicolas, Justin, Sophia-Lynn and Samuel; her daughter-in-law, Monique, her son-in-law, Nick; her sister-in-law as well as 13 sisters and brothers with their spouse, have surrounded her with their love, at her residence until the very end.
