EILEEN ELIZABETH PIERCE April 25, 1916 - May 23, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Eileen Elizabeth Pierce. Mom went home to be with our Lord on May 23, 2007. Mom left one sister Deion of Kamloops; and three children Michael (Susan) of Edmonton, Suzanne (John) of Kamloops; and Annette from Washington. Mom also enjoyed eight wonderful grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mom began her life in the City of Angles, Calf, in 1916. She pursued a career singing and dancing in motion pictures. In 1942 she met and married our dad Clifton Pierce. A marriage that lasted 59 years until dad went home in 2001. Mom spent her years raising us, while pursuing her love of painting, music, cooking and travel. Mom will be missed by all her family and many friends. We would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Berwick on the Park and Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home. Special thanks to Sandy and Crystal Augustine for their loving way with palliative care. A celebration of mom's life will be held on June 2nd, 2007 at 1p.m. in the Full Gospel Church, 1550 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Crescent, Kamloops, B.C., V2E 2S9 in mom's memory.
