Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at her home in Conception Hr. on March 20, 2012, age 104 years. Predeceased by her husband George (1959), daughter Anne Poole (2000), three infant children Michael, James and Mary, son-in-law Tom Poole (1998), grand-daughter Cathy O'Brien (1999). Leaving to mourn with treasured and lasting memories, her son Edward (Bernice) Dalton; daughters: Betty, Helen (Pat) Hearn, Margaret, Geraldine (Leo) Hickey, Mary (Baxter) Taylor; grandchildren: Tom (Carol Ann) Poole, Randy (Kathryn) Poole, Pat (Gertie) Hearn, Paul (Abigail) Hearn, Terry (Marlene) Hearn, Lisa (Matthew) Burke, Karl (Rachel) Dalton, Charlene Dalton, Edward Dalton, Craig (Amey) Hickey, Stephen Hickey, Christopher Taylor, Michael Taylor and 17 great-grandchildren. Also her nephew Frank Doyle (Helene) Avondale; her nieces: Rita, Marion and Agnes in USA, as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Hr. on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, Conception Hr. on Friday, March 23rd, 2012. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
