John Stewart Tupholme John Stewart Tupholme born May 6, 1915 in London, England passed to the Grand Lodge above on May 31, 2007. He was predeceased by his first wife Ada (Spreadborough) in 1985 and is survived by his loving wife Sally (Joslin); two sons Michael (Caroline), Paul (Sarah); four grandchildren Geoffrey, Christopher (Dorise), Matthew, Eric; and two great grandchildren Brittney and Morgan. John joined to R.A.F. in 1935 as a pilot and was stationed in Singapore where he met and married Ada on March 18, 1940. During the War he spent 3 1/2 years in a Prisoner of War Camp. John returned to Malaya after the War and managed various rubber plantations, later becoming Director of Rubber in Sarawak. John joined the Masonic Order in Singapore in 1950 and was an Honorary Lifetime Member of Kamloops Lodge #10 and Kamloops Chapter #18. In 1967 the family moved to Canada, John and Ada settling in Kamloops. After completing the Real Estate Course, he worked with Fowley Nicholson for the balance of his working career. John was a Past Director of Kamloops Real Estate Board. For the last years of his life John has been lovingly cared for by his second wife Sally of 13 years. No formal service at John's request. In lieu of flowers, a donation in John's memory may be made to the Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Charity of your choice.
