JACK GLOVER It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father and grandfather Jack Glover on Saturday, June 9th, 2007 at the Ashcroft Health Site, at the age of 87. Dad (Grandpa Glover) was born in Quesnel, BC August 29th, 1919 to Norman and Hazel Glover. At the young age of 6 months Jack returned to Ashcroft, where Norman and Hazel had always called home. From that time on, with the exception of the war years, Dad remained in Ashcroft to live, marry, raise a family and work until he retired from B.A. Oil. Jack met Peggy Reid and they were married on November 21st, 1941. Jack served overseas in the Royal Canadian Navy. Jack was predeceased by Peggy in August 1999. He is survived by three children Bonnie (Murray), 16 Mile, BC, Reid, Abu Dhabi, UAE and Murray (Gail) Ashcroft, BC. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Stephen Abram, Tumbler Ridge, BC, Todd Abram (Dee), Surrey, BC, Brock Glover, Vancouver, BC, and Kurt Glover, Ashcroft, BC. After retirement, Jack spent many happy hours on the Semlin Valley Golf Course. At Jack's request there will be no formal service.
