McCARTHY, MARY JUNE - 1939-2012 - Mary June McCarthy, 72, of Riverview, passed away at her residence, LeBlanc Special Care Home, on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Originally from West Brook, NS, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Hazel Thompson (Kelso). June will be dearly missed by her husband, Daniel; daughters, Denise McCarthy (Jim Harley) of Riverview; Colleen McCarthy of Vancouver, BC; son, Dan McCarthy (Christine) of Riverview; sister, Joyce Gallagher (Wylie) of Southampton, NS; and grandchildren, Mikey Holland, Rebecca, Jessica and Natasha McCarthy. June’s sister, Ardis Gallagher, also predeceased her.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB, (869-2007), on Monday, March 26, from 6 to 8pm. In honouring June’s request, there will be no funeral service. June’s resting place will be West Brook Cemetery in Parrsboro, NS.
